Alden Harris | 2022 Season Highlights
In only his second full season touring, Alden Harris made a big jump as a professional disc golf player in 2022.
The Prodigy Disc Core Team player captured his first Disc Golf Pro Tour victory at the Mid America Open in August, a Silver Series event played at Harmony Bends, one of America’s highest-rated courses. This was three months after Harris won another career-shaping tournament in Southern California by taking down The Challenge @ Goat Hill Park.
Harris raised his PDGA player rating to the 1030 benchmark and became a top 25 ranked player in the world. He finished the DGPT season 23rd in Circle 1 Putting and 16th in Parked percentage.
From Alden
Most Memorable Shots from 2022
"The long putt at Mid America on hole 13. It was a deep Circle 2 putt and a complete momentum shifter. And of course, the final approach shot at Mid America was clutch to close the tournament out.
At Goat Hill, my shot during the final round on hole 10 with an A1 was pinned and really motivated me mid-round to win."
Discs Most Relied On
"PA-1 for approaches and anything within 300 feet, PA-3 for putting, and D1 in 400 plastic as my go-to distance driver."
Anticipated Tournaments in 2023
"Definitely the European Open and EPT Turku. This season will be the first time I am heading overseas for disc golf."
