Blue Ridge Championship: Gannon Buhr chases down win again
It was a banner weekend for the Prodigy Disc Team at the Blue Ridge Championship DGPT Silver event in Marion, North Carolina at the North Cove Leisure Club.
The Chasedown Kid
The MPO field took on the par 60 Gorge course, and entering the final round Gannon Buhr was in a tie for fourth, two strokes off the lead. For the second time this season, Buhr charged from the chase card to take home the victory.
His 1083-rated, 9-under par final round was the best 18 holes played on the weekend. The win, Buhr’s third of 2023, propelled him into the UDisc Disc Golf World Rankings no. 1 spot for the first time in his career.
