Caroline Henderson joins Prodigy Disc Core Team
Prodigy Disc is excited to announce the signing of FPO player Caroline Henderson to a professional sponsorship. Henderson will be joining the Prodigy Disc Core Team, the company’s highest level of touring support, on a three-year contract that runs through the 2025 season. The contract is Henderson's first exclusive contract with a disc golf manufacturer.
As part of the Core team, Henderson will receive a 2023 Signature Series disc and has picked the X3 in AIR Spectrum plastic, choosing an industrious Bee to represent the Queen of Trees for her unique design.
“To be competitive on the professional tour requires a lot - dedication, drive, support. I know I have what it takes to challenge for podium finishes, and having a company such as Prodigy behind me allows me to focus on performing well on the course,” said Henderson. “Prodigy has confidence in me as a player, and I am looking forward to repaying that trust with some big moments during my first year on the road.”
Henderson burst onto the scene at the 2023 Las Vegas Challenge with a ninth place finish in her first-ever Disc Golf Pro Tour Elite Series event. In 2023, she’s raised her PDGA player rating by almost 30 points and to date has 14 career PDGA wins, including three FPO B-tier victories. Henderson began playing sanctioned disc golf events in 2021.

After speaking with her over the course of several weeks, we feel she has the potential to become a top athlete in the sport, which is why we wanted her as part of our team.”
As a former high-level softball player, Henderson has instilled a similar mindset and training regimen to her disc golf development and is equally prolific off the tee with a forehand shot as she is with a backhand. Henderson has been documenting her progress as a touring pro on her YouTube channel and will be collaborating with GK Pro on a similar series for its YouTube.
