Chris Dickerson and Matt Orum each picked up their second wins in 2021 in as many events.
Dickerson came back from a one stroke deficit after round one of The Frozen Gnome III to shoot the second round hot score and grab the two stroke win. He totaled a 19-under par 100 at the event in Chattanooga, Tenn., and reached a 1050 player rating for the first time in the subsequent PDGA ratings update. Dickerson is now tied for the fourth highest rated player in the world.
Matt Orum did not have quite as close of a call at his event, taking the Southside Winter Slam title by a whopping 16 strokes. Orum kept it consistent, shooting the same exact score twice with a 1052 rating to go with each round. He finished with a 16-under 92 total.
Lance Brown also grabbed a win at the Polk County Open in Lakeland, Fla., while Nathan Hughes won The Stafford Invitational in Virginia.
