The Prodigy Disc lineup features the most diverse & advanced range of plastics on the market, utilizing seven types of plastic and three different visual treatments. The seven plastic types range from easy to break-in to extremely durable, while the aesthetic treatments can be applied solo or combined for unique colorways. Here’s a breakdown of the Prodigy plastic types & their defining characteristics: 

200 Plastic – For new players and extra practice putters. 

300 Plastic – For putters and midranges & approach discs that you want to “season” or cycle

400 Plastic – For wet conditions and maximum distance drivers

500 Plastic – Great looking discs built for heavily-wooded courses

750 Plastic – For hot rounds and built to take a beating

AIR Plastic – For extra distance and effortless flights

Predictable Flight Paths

Each disc in our collection is designed with specific flight characteristics in mind. From overstable discs that provide predictable flights in windy conditions to understable discs designed for anhyzer shots, every model is engineered to meet distinct flight paths and speed requirements. Unlike most disc golf brands, we have a clear & defined naming system that helps you easily figure out exactly which disc you need for each shot. The letter in the model name represents the type of disc: 

Distance Drivers (D)

Hybrid Drivers (H)

Fairway Drivers (F)

Midrange Discs (M)

Approach Discs (A)

Putting Discs (P)

The number in the model name represents the stability of the flight path. Our models range from 1 to 9 - '1' being the most overstable and '9' being the most understable. In the middle of the stability range, a "4" in M4 is a slightly understable disc, depending on the model range in that series.

Prodigy discs are designed to fly exactly as you intend them to, leaving no surprises. A major component of this is the hand feel of the disc, before it even leaves your hand. Between each of the plastic types, you can choose from soft & firm discs that offer a grip that’s tailored to your playing style.
