The F Model US puts a nice variety of shot shapes into a player's bag with its unique flight tendencies. The US designation for understable is apparent out of the hand thanks to its high speed turn which makes the disc drift right for a right handed backhand shot. What makes the flight unique is its noticable finish at the end. This gives players with lower arm speeds a nice disc to throw longer S shots with and those with more power a nice understable option that can handle some torque.
F Model discs are a great introduction into "drivers". They're made for controlled, accurate shots at a long distance and have a smaller rim for a comfortable grip.

It’s a great discs for a beginner I would recommend this disc to anyone
Not as understable as it suggests, good turn flips up nice, and runs pretty straight with a predictable fade at the end.
Would prefer a better plastic, but flies as advertised
I love my DF FmS. It's like a more glidey H3v2 and fills that control driver spot in my bag. I bag 3 FmS in various plastics and stages of wear. I was expecting the DF FmUS to behave like a beat-in DF FmS, but it doesn't. Out of the box, a new DF FmUS flies nearly identical to a new BG FmS but obviously keeps its flight characteristics longer than the BG plastic. The edge of rim has almost a concave feel so the grip is a little different from the FmS. As long as you throw this disc smooth, flat, and almost have a "long arm swing", you'll get one of the most beautiful 10/6/-2/2 flights out there. Think of a slower, tighter D3 flight, at least mine was brand new. If you try to muscle this disc, or snap it too hard, or come over the top, it behaves like nothing you've ever wanted before. This could be a max distance disc for someone moving up to faster discs or someone who naturally has a longer, smoother swing. It doesn't have a place in my bag, I prefer to season a more stable disc into an understable flight. However, I recommend this disc and let my friends try it when they want something like a faster F3 or F5 but aren't ready for the D Series yet.
