The Prodigy Disc A4 is the latest in our range of approach discs. The A4 is a slightly over stable disc that fills the distance gap between midranges and putters and is designed for all skill levels. The disc is consistent and reliable in moderate wind conditions and perfect for short approach shots. It works equally as well for backhand or sidearm throwers. The A4, like the A3 has a bead on the rim. You can expect it to fly slightly less stable than the A3 with an extra 40-50 feet in distance.

200 Plastic is extremely versatile. It's great for entry level players looking to get into the game, as well as advanced & professional players who love to fine tune their discs by working them in just the way they like. The feel of this plastic brings a new dimension to our line-up. Similar to our 300 Plastic, but with less grip - the 200 Plastic stands on its own.

Michael R. The A4 is an incredible mold when flat. 200 plastic offers a nice velvety firm feel in the hand. Beats into a flip up rather quick but great for the cycling game.

R.T. Love the A4, and I'll be sorry to see it go, so I'm stocking up now. It gives me a longer flight with less effort than a putter, and the sharp bite at the end of flight allows me to place it precisely. The shallow profile makes it easy to forehand, making this a really versatile disc. I use the 200 plastic during the winter. I appreciate the grippiness of it (as opposed to the slicker, flexy version of 200 that drivers seem to be made of these days) and the disc seems to hold up just fine despite being Prodigy's "most base" of plastics.
