The Prodigy Disc A4 is the latest in our range of approach discs. The A4 is a slightly over stable disc that fills the distance gap between midranges and putters and is designed for all skill levels. The disc is consistent and reliable in moderate wind conditions and perfect for short approach shots. It works equally as well for backhand or sidearm throwers. The A4, like the A3 has a bead on the rim. You can expect it to fly slightly less stable than the A3 with an extra 40-50 feet in distance.

400 Plastic is a premium blend of materials that is extremely durable and gives the thrower an impeccable grip, even when it is wet. It is the most popular Prodigy plastic across the entire lineup of discs. While 400 Plastic is often known for its translucent properties, which catch the sunlight well for pronounced colors in the daytime, it can also be more opaque. 400 plastic has a stiff rim and more “pop” when you flex the center of the disc.

I got an A4 on a Seconds sale, and I absolutely love this disc. I feel like I can throw it as a forehand or a backhand disc and it will reliably fade no matter what. The 400 plastic is super durable through tree hits and still holds that reliable fade through heavy use.
great over stable approach for any forehand up to 200'. Quiet or no 'ground' action so it doesn't Skip away from basket!
This is a fantastic approach disc. It flies relatively straight and can find this narrow gaps. Exactly what I wanted in my big.
Love this disc, like a Zone but can go straighter and further with a similar fade and a little less turn. Great utility/escape disc. Would use the A4 for a 1-disc round challenge.
Only con is it cannot handle too much send on a forehand, it will burn.
This is one of my favorites has nice turn and great fade and skip at the end.
I've found my new "driving putter/approach disc". For comparison purposes, I can only max out a driver at around 350 feet. I got an A3 in 750 plastic which throws great and serves a purpose, but won't finish straight like I want. This disc, thrown near full power, just flips to flat, turns just a bit and then glides down the fairway with a slight fade at the end of the flight.
The most comfortable disc in the band. Easy to throw multiple lines. Great disc.
