Prodigy Disc is proud to welcome Gavin Rathbun to the 2025 Core Team. The Illinois native has played in 260 career events winning 42 events and 96 podium finishes, including taking down the 2016 PDGA United States Amateur Disc Golf Championship. Gavin competed in 28 events in 2024, with his average finish in the top-25 to go with 3 podium finishes in DGPT events a year after an arm injury, earning him the 2024 DGPT Comeback Player of the Year award.
To welcome Gavin to the team, we're releasing the M4 in 500 Ultra Soft for the first time with Gavin's logo on it. As Gavin builds his bag with Prodigy for the first time, he's already identified the M4 as a go-to in his new bag as he heads into the 2025 season.
Thanks to its incredible flexibility, you can depend on it to stick and stay on an approach or make hitting trees more forgiving. Being suitable for all seasons and conditions, this versatile plastic will have a reason to stay in your bag like it does on the course.
The Prodigy Disc M4 is an extremely reliable understable midrange disc. It is designed for all players and flies extremely far for a midrange. The M4 will turn up when thrown hard and will then have an extra long glide and a soft straight finish.
