The Prodigy Disc MX-3 is a slightly overstable, beaded midrange that is engineered for high-level controllability and performance, meeting the demands of professionals while providing benefit to varying classes of players. The MX-3 is designed to be highly resistant to torque, ideal for players who throw with force and need to avoid turnover. Headwinds are no match for the MX-3, with a slightly overstable to straight flight that still offers an impressive amount of glide, especially when thrown on anhyzer and flex lines. Its beaded rim provides a comfortable grip, smooth release, and consistent stability.

500 Plastic is a premium blend that has a less gummy feel than 400 plastic. This provides you with an extremely confident grip and a stiffer flight plate, balancing just the right amount of flex and firmness. 500 Plastic has a uniquely pearlescent finish which adds another visual element to each disc.

I’m not sure if I got a weird run of the Mx-3 or not, but mine was flippy right out of the box. I got it in 500 plastic, and figured it would be straight to slightly over stable. Into a headwind it turns over almost immediately when thrown flat. I can throw some amazing anhyzer turnover shots that hold the line for the entire flight. It also works really well for hyzer flips. Overall I’m happy with the disc, and probably just got a weird outlier. It’s very easy to shape the disc, so I’ll let it slide this time ;)
More stable than any Roc3 I’ve owned and goes longer. Perfect overstate Mid.
