In only a few short years, Scotland’s Rachel Turton has transitioned from one of the best Ultimate Frisbee players in Europe to one of the top FPO disc golf talents on the continent. The Prodigy Europe Team player recently returned home from a three-tournament Disc Golf Pro Tour swing in America and hit the ground running.
In her first event back, Rachel took down the EuroTour #2 - Konopiště Open in the Czech Republic. The win was Rachel's second on the EuroTour, and she quickly followed that up with a win at the European Pro Tour’s Tyyni Open in July for a 27th career victory in 45 career events.
On the course, Rachel’s Ultimate background sees her favoring many straight to understable discs. She also possesses a skilled forehand, so can power an overstable D1 distance driver as well as she can finesse a PA-5 approach flick.
Turton won the 2021 EuroTour Caledonian Open, 2022 Scottish Open and British Championship, as well as the European Pro Tour’s Copenhagen Open and EPT All-Stars event. She is currently rated 938.
